B. m = 100w + 10,000

C. 100m = 10,000w

D. 10,000m = 100w

Answer: 1) B. m = 100 w + 10,000

2) 20 weeks

Explanation:

1) Here w represents the number of weeks Vic's car is driven.

Since, In one week he drives = 100 miles,

Therefore, In w weeks he drives = 100 w,

Also, the car has already driven 1000 miles.

Thus, the total distance covered by him in w week = 100 w + 10,000

Option B is correct.

2) Let in w weeks car is driven 12,000 miles,

Therefore, 100 w + 10,000 = 12,000

100 w = 2000

w = 20 weeks,

He will drive 12000 miles in 20 weeks.

Option A is correct.
