Immunity and Spread of Infection. The lymphatic system plays an integral role in the immune functions of the body. It is the first line of defense against disease. This network of vessels and nodes transports and filters lymph fluid containing antibodies and lymphocytes (good) and bacteria (bad).

The lymphatic system is comprised of the vascular system. The lymphatic system plays important role in immune functions of the body. It absorbed and transport the fatty acid then later fats from the digestive system. The lymphatic system provides the network of vessels and nodes transports and filters the lymph fluid that contains antibodies and lymphocytes that is good whereas bacteria, that is not good for living organism.
