1. C. Rivers such as the Mississippi carry nutrient-rich silt that is spread around the area when the river Floods

This means that whenever the river floods, the crops that exist surrounding the Mississippi alluvial plain would have enough nutrients for their growth. Farmers who live near this area would experience an increase in profit under such situation.

2. A. Mississippi Alluvial Plain

This region is located on top of active tectonic plates. When the tectonic plates move and created friction, it would create earthquakes that can be damaging for the people who live on top of it. It is predicted that This area has 10% chance to experience Earthquakes with 7.0 magnitude or higher within the next 45 years.

3. B. Early warm weather in Canada cause snow to melt

E. The spring of 1927 so record amounts of rainfall in the Midwest

F. Floodwaters covered parts of the state and up to 30 feet of water.

Combination of melting snow and heavy rainfall caused the water level to increase and make it leaked to the surroundings area. Since the height of the flood could reach 30 feet, it basically killed all the crops in surrounding area, prevent vehicles from moves, destroy many appliances that rely on electricity, and bring harmful bacteria to people's residence.
