we have to find the distance between opposite two sides of rhombus.

Since side of rhombus is 10 cm and one of the acute angle is of 30° then

In ΔAED,


sin\angle DAE=(DE)/(AD)


sin30^(\circ)=(DE)/(10)


DE=(1)/(2)* 10=5

Hence, the perpendicular distance between the opposite sides of rhombus is 5 cm
