Read the passage.

About one in the morning, I heard a rumbling. Finally! The train was almost three hours late. I looked around. No one there but my family—no other passengers, no train attendant, no one to help us board. So we started lugging our four bags, two sleeping kids, two blankets, and three coats up the ramp to the platform. The train stopped. Two porters came out, grabbed my bags, then practically shoved the car seats, kids, and me onto the train. It wasn’t exactly the smooth trip I had expected.

Step-by-step explanation:

From this passage, the reader can deduce that the speaker was annoyed by the delay of the train and the poor service given by the train attendants. He expected a quiet and nice travel, but had to face several difficulties he did not foresee.
