If 3over2x +6 =2x +1 what is the value of x

x = 10

Explanation:

I took 3/2x and got 1.5x and put it into the equation. 1.5x+6=2x+1

Subtract the 2 from the right to the left 1.5x-2x = -.5x+6=1

Subtract the six from the left to the right -.5x=-5

Divide by -.5 || -5/-.5 = 10 -- x = 10
