The formula of a perimeter of a rectangle:

P=2(l+w)

l - length

w - width

We have

w - width

w + 9 - length

130 cm - perimeter

Substitute:

2(w+9+w)=130 divide both sides by 2

2w+9=65 subtract 9 from both sides

2w=56 divide both sides by 2

\boxed{w=28}

w+9=28+9\\\\w+9=37

Answer: The length = 37 cm and the width = 28 cm.
