How did World War ll change life for many women and African Americans?

Well for African Americans, they made the 3/5 rule where 3/5 of an African American men would count as one vote in the voting process and slavery wasn't fully "abolished" at the time. Some slave holders still own slaves but that is a different story. The women were still fighting for equal rights which really didn't work out because till this day we are still fighting for equal rights. I hope this was helpful to you.
