Final answer:

Peter's transformation in Luke 5:11 illustrates his journey from skepticism to strong faith as he follows Jesus' instruction to find a coin in a fish's mouth, marking his evolution into a key figure among Jesus' disciples and later the early Christian church.

Step-by-step explanation:

Peter's transformation in Luke 5:11 is a compelling story of faith and obedience, where Peter evolves from a fisherman into a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ. Initially, Peter is depicted as confused and in disbelief when Jesus instructs him to go to the lake and find a coin in the mouth of a fish to pay the tax collector. Despite his confusion, Peter's faith leads him to comply. This act of faith signifies Peter's turning point, where he begins to witness firsthand the profound impact of Christ's miracles and teachings.

In the wider narrative of the New Testament, Peter's character is built through such experiences, coming to embody the dramatic essence of faith. From his humble origins, Peter becomes a towering figure among the apostles, eventually delivering teachings to cultured hearers and leading the early Christian church. His transformation reflects the possibility of change through divine intervention and the potential within all individuals to rise above their circumstances.

Through artist interpretations, such as those in frescos and gospels, Peter's transformation is visualized, emphasizing his journey from skepticism to an unwavering believer. The image of Peter, often in a blue tunic, captures the dynamic of his character's progression and the timeless message that steadfast faith can lead to profound personal change. Peter's story remains a testament to the transformative power of faith and the embodiment of Christ's message on Earth.

Peter was a regular man who worked hard every day to get some fish to eat. One day, he stood up all night, but had no luck with the fishing until Jesus came in. The Lord told Peter to believe in him and to put the net again in the water, although Peter was already leaving and washing his net to get back home. Peter did what He was told to and he couldn't believe what happened: the net got so full with fishes that he had to ask for help to other fisherman in their boats. Amazed like never before, Peter fell down at Jesus and told Him he didn't deserve his compassion as he was a sinner, but the Lord told him he was not there tu judge, but to help him have real faith and that from that moment on, he was going to help others.

Jesus said to Peter: “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people." He told Peter that He was not there to condemn him, but to ask him to follow Him and tell others the good news and blessings that comes from having faith in Him.

Peter's transformation makes us realize how the Lord is not in our lives to judge us for our past actions, but to make our lives brighter and to help us have faith in him.
