=3.14 x 16
50.24 cm^2
But here we need the area of the semicircle
so 50.24/2 = 25.12 cm^2

Now we find the area of the triangle
Area = 1/2bh
= 1/2 x 8 x 4
16 cm^2

The area of the shaded region = 25.12-16
= 9.12 cm^2
