A proposed law from the Federal Government would force all 50 states to punish teenagers who practiced texting and driving by revoking the licenses of those who texted and drove on the first offense for a period of 2 years.

What would the reaction of an Anti-Federalist be to this proposed law? What would cause them concern?

Overall in the Federalist vs. Anti-Federalist debate, what did each side advocate for?

Explain in your own words and complete sentences (5-8 sentences)

The Anti Federalist would revolt against the law because the law would apply for every state overlooking their own rights, making them weaker. This last part would cause concern for them, the point that the central power is having more power than them. The Federalist support that to avoid a precarious union of states is needed a powerful central government. On the other hand, the anti-federalist said that the power of the central government must be cut off and decrease the other powers so the local governments can be independent of the central power.
