Hence, FD is transverse line. In transverse line alternate angles are equal.

Therefore, ∠AFD=∠EDC (alternate interior angles)

And ∠FAD=∠ECD (opposite angles in parallelogram)

Therefore, by AA similarity △ADF∼△CDE
