Answer:

slope = 2 ; y-intercept = 5

Explanation:

Note the equation: y = mx + b, in which m = slope & b = y-intercept.

In the following question, we see that 2 replaces m, and 5 replaces b. Since:

m = slope, and m = 2, ∴ slope = 2

b = y-intercept, and b = 5 ∴ y-intercept = 5
