A photograph with a width of 3 inches and a length of 5 inches will be enlarged so that the length is 40 inches. What will the width equal?

Answer: the width will be a total of 24 inches


Explanation:


we know that the original length is 5 inches and we need to make It 40 inches, so we will begin by dividing 40 by 5 and that gives us 8, we also know the original width of the picture is 3 inches so we need to multiply now 3×8 that gives us 24 inches.
