“Now then! Show your ticket, child!” the Guard went on, looking angrily at Alice. And a great many voices all said together (“like the chorus of a song,” thought Alice), “Don't keep him waiting, child! Why, his time is worth a thousand pounds a minute!”

Which statement best explains the meaning of the simile in this excerpt?

(A) The passengers on the train are singing a song.

(B) Alice is chanting along with everyone else.

(C) The voices are very loud in comparison to Alice’s voice.

Usually chorus is used to describe such as a choir, which a group of people sing a part of the song together (as it says ...song at the end). Chorus generally are like the verse that is repeated each time, and generally holds the main message.
