The US law recalls that Article VI of the Extradition Treaty provides that the request must be accompanied by "documents, statements or other information that describe the identity and probable whereabouts of the person sought."
Likewise, it must include texts of the criminal facts and the procedural history of the case, as well as texts of the legal provisions that typify the crime for which extradition is requested and the corresponding penalties.
