There have been recent discussions about eliminating the pronoun "Señorita" from the

language to differentiate married women from non-married women. Why might this be
a progressive idea? What other issues could you see posing controversy in today's world
regarding personal pronouns and gender?

An attempt is made to remove this pronoun to stop differentiating between married and unmarried women because it is not important in today's society.

Another similar problem is trying to impose inclusive language in Spanish; inclusive language is when gender is not differentiated in the language. There are many progressive people who want to impose inclusive language but that will bring some communication problems.
