The predator species keeps the prey species under control. Without predators, prey animals would over populate.

Hope this helped.

Answer: Loss of prey

Explanation:

The introduction of species in the ecosystem disturbs the stability of the ecosystem. The introduction of predator in an ecosystem will drastically reduce the number of prey.

As the number of prey is inversely proportional to the number of predators, the prey will decrease.

Example: Introduction of snakes in the ecosystem will reduce the mouse.
