The false statement is - A. The capital city of Wellington is the only major city located inland.

New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, is by far the biggest city in this island nation. But Wellington is not a city located inland, instead it is located on the coast. Wellington is actually a very rare type of city because of its location, and that is because the city has access to two different, large bodies of water. The city comes out on the Pacific Ocean on its southern part, and on the northern part comes out on the Tasmanian Sea, being located right on the border between the two.
