A train blows its whistle to warn traffic of its approach. The sound waves are moving at a speed of 331 m/s. The frequency of the waves is 15 Hz. What is the wavelength?

frequency of sound waves,
\\u=15\ Hz

The relation between speed of sound wave and wavelength is


v=\\u \lambda


\lambda=(v)/(\\u)


\lambda=(331\ m/s)/(15\ Hz)


\lambda=22.06\ m
