1. The prime difference between the North and South American colonization is that the behavior towards the indigenous people was much different after the initial conflicts and conquering. In North America, the indigenous people were discriminated, segregated, tortured, and not allowed to integrate, and that continued for several centuries. In South America, things quickly changed for the indigenous people after the initial tensions, as they were deliberately integrated, mixed marriages started to become a common thing, they were allowed to work as the European settlers.

2. The main cultural divide between the Latin and North America, is that Latin America is region where the cultural influence is Spanish, but also with mixtures of the cultures of the indigenous people. North America, on the other hand, is a region with predominantly English based culture, with slight French influence.
