In the figure, given 4 parallel lines and also a transversal with equal intercepts PQ=QR=RS. And given another transversal line with TX=3 units.

we have to find the length of TU

By the theorem, "If 3 parallel lines cut off equal segments on some transversal then they cut off equal segments on any of other transversal line"

Hence, TX=XZ=ZU=3

TU=TX+XZ+ZU=3+3+3=9 units

Hence, the length of TU is 9 units.
