Answer:

4 pizzas

Explanation:

We know that each of the pizza has 12 slices.

16 people are expected to come and each person among them is estimated to eat 3 slices of pizza which makes a total of 16 × 3 = 48 slices.

So we need at at least 48 slices of pizza.

Number of pizza we need to get =
(48)/(12) =
4

Therefore, we need to get 4 pizzas.

Answer:

We will get 4 pizza.

Explanation:

Each person will eat 3 slices of pizza and we are expecting 16 people to come.So total number of slices consumed by 16 people will be

16×3 = 48 slices.

Now it is given in the question that each pizza has 12 slices then we have to find out number of pizza to be ordered.

We apply unitary method

∵ 12 slices will be = 1 pizza

∴ 1 slice will be = 1/12 pizza

∴ 48 slices will be = 1/12×48

=48/12

= 4 pizza

So total 4 pizza to be ordered.
