So, this is equation that contains simple subtraction nothing too big.

First, there are 250 adults and 180 of them are parents, meaning that we subtract to get our first part of the problem.

250 - 180 = 70

Next, 150 of the parents wanted the park expanded along with 40 of the adults. So, now we got to subtract to see how many parents don't want it expand.

70 - 30 = 40 | 180 - 150 = 30

So, we got how many people does and dont want the park expanded. Since, I don't got it in the simplest form I will just do soo.

Answer:

We have that,

Total number of people = 250

Total number of parents = 180

Then, total number of people not parents = 250 -180 = 70.

Now, it is given that,

The number of parents that said yes to expansion = 150

The number of non-parents that said yes to expansion = 40

So, we get that,

The number of parents that said no to expansion = 180-150 = 30

The number of non-parents that said no to expansion = 70-40 = 30.

Thus, we will get the following table,

Yes No

Parents 150 30

Not Parents 40 30
