6. A. Americans were hostile toward the Comanche, so they intended to fight back

At that time, people in the texas frontier refers to the comanche as 'savages' and often conduct a hostile attack to the members of the tribe (such as attacking them when hunting or forcing them to move out from their ancestral land) , this force the Comanche to Retaliate

8. D. The demand for cattle increased in the north which made the price increase

As the demand for the cattle increased, more people willing to spend higher amount of money to obtain the cattle. This make the average price of the cattle increased and the producers able to rake in larger amount of profit. The number of investors that see cattle industry as a profitable businesses start to increase and make the cattle industry successful.

9. A. The trail encourage many cattle drives

Cattle drives refers to the process of distributing cattles from one area to another. in the past, this was being done by Cowboys on horses.

By seeing the western trail, the cattle sellers can pinpoint exactly the location of new settlement where they can market their cattle. The Cowboys just need to follow the trail.

10. C. The knights of labor encouraged workers to be not across different industries

It's the other way around. The knights of labor encourage workers to took up as much opportunities as possible from different industries. This would strengthen the network that the labor union has and more labors can be protected from unfair treatment of the owner.
