Answer:

Option b

Explanation:

A scatter plot is one which represents all observations in a graph.

Normally the observations would be for two variables, x and y . Invariably by convention, x is independent and y is dependent.

Obviously graphing is possible only when x and y both are numerical. Categorical or other type of variables cannot be plotted in a scatter plot.

Here option a has the heights and ages of KC chiefs players. Both are numerical and is possible to represent on a scatter plot.

Option b has The names and runs batted in (RBI) statistics of the NY Yankees players. Here name is not numerical and hence cannot be represented on a scatter plot.

Option c has he free throws made (FTM) and the free throws attempted (FTA) of the SA Spurs players. both being numerical CAN be represented on a scatter plot

Hence answer is option b.
