Hi!
The answer would be 1.91 g/cm^(3)
In this case, we are assuming the density of the object in concern is uniform throughout, and to calculate this we will use the formula of density that links mass and volume. Density is basically a value that denotes the amount of matter in an object. If two objects have the same value, but different masses, the difference will be seen in their densities. The object having a higher mass with the same volume will be denser than the object having lesser mass with the same volume.
The formula of density is:
Density = Mass / Volume
The mass is given: 225g , and the volume of the bone: 118 cm^(3)
Note: volume has three dimensions, and hence is measured in cubic centimeter (in our case), not in centimeter.
Putting the given values in the equation, we get:
Density = 225/118
Density = 1.91g/ cm^(3)
Hope this helps!
