John and Julie are planning to have a new house built the architect designed a house and sent them the blueprints the scale that the architect used on the blueprints is 2.5 inches equals 10 feet the living room will have the actual dimensions of 12 feet by 26 feet what are its dimensions on the blueprints

So basically You have to find out what 10 feet is (2.5) and then divide 2.5 by 10. Next, multiply the answer by 2. So you should get 0.5 inches. Add 2.5 and 0.5 together you get 3. Next you have to find what 26 feet would be using the scale. So you have to Multiply 2.5 bye 2 to get 5 so 5 inches is 20 feet. Next divide 2.5 by 10 then multiply it by 6 to get 1.5 next add 5 and 1.5 to get 6.5.

The answer to the problem is 3 inches by 6.5 inches.
