mid point = ( - 2 , 2.5 )

Explanation:

We have given a segment with endpoints (-2,3) and (-2,2)

To find mid point of the segment:

We use the formula to find mid point = {
(x_(1)+x_(2)  )/(2) , (y_(1)+y_(2)  )/(2)}

Here, x₁ = -2 , x₂ = -2 , y₁ = 3 and y₂ = 2

i.e mid point = {
(-2+(-2))/(2) , (3+2)/(2)}

or mid point = ( - 2 ,
(5)/(2) ) = (-2 , 2.5)
