The main properties of water are its polarity, cohesion, adhesion, surface tension, high specific heat, and evaporative cooling. A water molecule is slightly charged on both ends. This is because oxygen is more electronegative than hydrogen.

Answer:

Liquid water structure is formed with the covalent bonding between two hydrogen and one oxygen bond.

Liquid water has several physical properties including appearance, boiling point, freezing point, density, solvency, and viscosity.

When water gets converted into ice it forms hexagonal shape which affects the density of water molecules. In the structure of ice which is hexagonal shape, space between water molecules increases and reduces it's density. This results into floating of ice in water.
