Explanation:

The slope equation is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

In (5,11) x1 would be 5 and y1 would be 11

In (-5, -1) x2 is -5 and y2 is -1

so just substitute values into the equation and solve:

(-1 -11) /( -5 -5) = -12 /-10 = 6/5

You can check this by going to your graph, and counting the squares. Go to the point (-5,-1) and go 6 units up and 5 to the right. Do the same thing from the point where you landed and you should land on the point (5,11). Hope this helps ;)
