  • The Federal Office of Personnel Management serves as the administrator of Human Resources among the offices of the federal government. They oversee payroll and al the administrative issues regarding transfers of employees within the offices of government.
  • The Merit Systems Protection Board is in charge of making sure all federal merit systems are correctly applied and gives a ruling regarding disputes between federal employees and their workplaces.
  • The Office of Government Ethics is in charge of overseeing the ethics program that is designed to solve conflicts of interest that may generate among employees in the offices of government.

These 3 offices are important because they help improve the overall development of employees working for the government. When improving the conditions of employees this will subsequently lead to a better functioning of government.
