A = area of the circle

A = pi*r^2

A = pi*11^2

A = 121pi

B = area of the rectangle

B = length*width

B = 6*4

B = 24

C = blue shaded area

C = A - B

C = 121pi - 24 which is the exact area in terms of pi

C = 356.1327 is what you'd get if you used a calculator

C = 356.13 is the result after rounding to the nearest hundredth
