Answer:

3 seconds


Explanation:

We want to find when h(t) =0

0 = - 12t^2 + 36t

factor out a -12t

0 = -12t( t-3)

Using the zero product property

-12t = 0 and t-3=0

t = 0 and t=3

t=0 is when it is dropped and t=3 is when it lands
