The first power conferred on the president by the US Constitution is the legislative power of the presidential veto. The so-called "Clause of Presentation" (Presentment Clause) requires that any bill passed by Congress be presented to the president before it can become law.

  • The main goal of the veto power is to guarantee that the law approved by the congress is not contrary to the objectives that the president has proposed for his government.
  • The responsibility in the use of the power of veto, is very great, since it represents a complete rejection of an idea or objective raised by the camera that represents all the citizens of the country.
  • The Department of the Treasury of the United States is a department of the Federal Government of the United States in charge of administering the public treasure of the United States. Created by the Founding Act by Congress in 1789 to raise economic support for the initial government.
