Answer:

By the fifth bounce, it would reach 31.25 centimeters

Explanation:

10/2=5

5/2=2.5

2.5/2=1.25

1.25/2=0.625

0.625/2=0.3125

0.3125 meters multiplied by 100(to get centimeters) = 31.25 centimeters

Answer:

28.75 m

Explanation:

a) First Fall d=10 m ( first Hit)

b) Second fall

height = 5 m

height lost = 5 m (second hit)

Total = 10 m

c) Third Fall

Height = 2.50 m

height lost = 2.50 m (third hit)

Total distance = 5 m

d) forth Fall

Height = 1.25 m

Height lost = 1.25 m (forth hit)

Total distance = 2.50 m

e) fifth Fall

Height = 0.625 m

Height Lost = 0.625 m (fifth hit)

Total Distance = 10+5*2+2.50*2+1.25*2+0.625*2

=10+10+5+2.50+1.25

=20+7.50+1.25

=27.50+1.25

=28.75 m
