You can graph the function rule by, first, getting a coordinate plane labeled with the scales. You then plot the y-intercept, in this case, it's +5. Then, you use your slope to find the direction of the line. Since your slope is -4 (or -4/1), you have to go DOWN (because it's negative). So, you go down from +5 four times and go over to the right one time (because of your denominator in -4/1), which would give you the point (1, 1). Then, you keep doing this until you have formed enough points to create your line.
