Answer:

3(4a + 2b)

Explanation:

if we were to expand this back out then we would get 12a + 6b


3 x 4 = 12 then add the a (12a)

3 x 2 = 6 then add the b (6b)

then your plus sign and you have your original ancwer meaning that this problem is correct
