Answer:

Given that:
(x-y)/(x+y) - (x+y)/(x-y)

Take LCM of x+y and x-y is,
x^2-y^2

then;

((x-y)^2 -(x+y)^2)/(x^2-y^2)

Using the identities rule:

(a+b)^2 = a^2+2ab+b^2

((x^2-2xy+y^2)-(x^2+2xy+y^2))/(x^2-y^2) = (x^2-2xy+y^2-x^2-2xy-y^2)/(x^2-y^2)

Combine like terms;

(-4xy)/(x^2-y^2)

Therefore, the answer is,
(-4xy)/(x^2-y^2)
