3(x – 2) = 22 – x

The value of x = 7

It is given that,

3(x – 2) = 22 – x ------(1) which is a linear equation in one variable x.So there is only one solution

To find the value of x

(1) ⇒ 3x - 6 = 22 - x

3x + x = 22 + 6

4x = 28

x = 28/4 = 7

Therefore the value of x = 7
