PLEASE HELP!

You work in an assembly line. The company determines that the average employee can assemble 4 radios in 90 minutes. For one shift there are 150 employees and they each work 8 hours.

To determine at this rate, how many radios were assembled in the entire plant during the shift you multiply 8 by 60, divide 90, then multiply by 4. Is thsi correct?

A) Yes

B) No, you need to add 1.5 to 8 before multiplying by 4

C) No, you need to divide 8 by 1.5 and then multiply by 4

D) No, you determined the number of radios one person assembled not the 150 employees.

If possible, please explain! Thank you!

Answer:

D.

Explanation

you are fine, but you just need to multiply what you got by 150 in order to get the total number of radios made by all 150 employees.
