Carbohydrates

Carbs digest very quickly and will quickly turn into sugar, which will result in high blood sugar. So Mike should not eat too much carbs at once. :(

Answer:

Carbohydrates.

Step-by-step explanation:

Diabetes may be defined as the medical condition in which the blood sugar level in the body is not maintained properly. The level of insulin or insulin receptor does not work properly in diabetes.

The diabetic patient are not allowed to have diets that can increase the sugar level in the body. Mike is diabetic patient and should avoid the diet rich in carbohydrates. The hydrolysis of the carbohydrates yield the glucose and sugar molecules that raises the blood sugar level.

Thus, the correct answer is option (1).
