a sample of gas has a volume of 12.0 L and a pressure o 1.00 atm. If the pressure of gas is increased to 2.00 atm, what is the new volume of gas if the temperature .stays constant?

24 liters? This involves the equation.

N=PVrT

N is moles P is pressure V is volume r is ideal gas constant T is temperature in kelvins. This equation rearranged helps solve all these ideal gas sorts of problems boyles law charles law etc. I learned this but cant remember to well. Best guess is 24 liters.
