-52=4(3n-1). Given
-52=12n-4. Distribute the 4
-48=12n. Add 4 to both sides
-4=n. Divide both sides by 12

-52=12n-4 you distribute the add 4 on both sides and then do -52+4 on a caculater then put = 12n Divide 12 and then n= whatever your answer is hope this helps
