Answer:

Option A - (-5,0) and (3,0).

Explanation:

Given : Function
y=x^2+2x-15

To find : What are the x-intercepts of the function ?

Solution :

The x-intercept means when y became zero i.e. y=0,

x^2+2x-15=0

Solve the quadratic equation by middle term split,

x^2+5x-3x-15=0

x(x+5)-3(x+5)=0

(x+5)(x-3)=0

x+5=0,x-3=0

x=-5,x=3

The x-intercepts are (-5,0) and (3,0).

Therefore, Option A is correct.
