242 inches

Explanation:

with an 11 inch diameter, a single spiral of the wires circumference is about 22 inches. with this we can multiply 22 by 11 and assume its 242 inches long

The estimated length of the wire is 379.94 inches.

Using the parameters given ;

  • diameter, D = 11 inches
  • Number of times coiled = 11

We can calculate the circumference(length) of the rope for each coil .

Circumference = πD

circumference = 34.54 inches

The length of each coil of the rope is 34.54 inches

Since, the rope is coiled 11 times ; then the length of the wire is :

  • 11 × 34.54 = 379.94 inches

Estimated length is 379.9t inches
