t = -b/2a where y =at^2 +bt+c

h(t) = -16t^2 +32t +20

so the axis of symmetry is t =-32/ 2*-16 = -32/-32 = 1

To find the maximum height, we substitute this value into the equation

h(1) = -16(1)^2 +32 +20

= -16+32+20

= 36
