For this case we must factor the following expression:

6x ^ 2-31x + 35

We must change the term of the medium by the sum of two numbers that when multiplied give as result
(6) (35) = 210, and when summed give as result -31.

These numbers are: -21 and -10

(-21) (- 10) = 210\\-21-10 = -31

So:

6x ^ 2-10x-21x + 35

We take common factor on both sides:

2x (3x-5) -7 (3x-5)\\(2x-7) (3x-5)

So,
6x ^ 2-31x + 35 = (2x-7) (3x-5)

Answer:

(2x-7) (3x-5)
