"I like to talk with you. For a foreigner, you know a lot of Spanish."
"What is a foreigner?" Ana asks.
"A foreigner is a person that speaks English. Generally, the word 'gringa' is used to talk about a person from the United States. If I see a person with blond hair and white skin, I say that person is a foreigner."
"Now I understand," responds Ana.
"You understand a lot. I don't have friends in Temuco because I'm new. All my friends live in Osorno," says Pepe.
"Tell me about Osorno."
"Osorno is very pretty. It is near a large lake. The lake is very big. The lake has green color. They call it Emerald Lake because of the green color it has. Its real name is Lake of All Saints. There is also a volcano called Osorno. It's not active but it's very beautiful."
Pepe is talking about Osorno when Ana interrupts, saying, "Why are you here in Temuco?"
"Because my father has a new job. It's a car salesman. It's better for him here in Temuco. Temuco is a nice place, I think. I like Temuco even though I have no friends here."
While they're talking, Jaime Campos walks towards them.
"Pepe, are you breathing today?"
Pepe is taking milk. Jaime grabs Pepe's milk and throws the milk at his shirt.
Ana cries, "How bad are you? "
Pepe cries, "Idiot!"
Pepe is very angry. He doesn't like Jaime. He doesn't like people like Jaime. Pepe cleans his shirt with a napkin. Jaime laughs and leaves.
"Jaime is a fool, " says Pepe.
"Jaime is an idiot. I don't like him. He needs to go to the planet Saturn, where no..."
