Answer:

To begin solving this we use the distributive method and multiply what is outside of the parenthesis by what's inside.

It will look like:

4 + 10(2) + 10(4)

To simplify that we multiply.

4 + 20 + 40

Now, we can add.

24+40

64 is your answer

Explanation:

First you have to solve inside the parentheses which is 8 and then add

4+10 which is 14. Now you multiply 14×8=112.
